session information

About our sessions

Our sessions will provide a space for reflection—a place where we can hold the difficulties you’re facing and acknowledge how painful they may feel.

Together, we can explore your dreams, aspirations, regrets, and hopes for the future.

Additionally, I bring my expertise into the realm of conflict resolution.

I can help you navigate communication challenges and work towards solutions that align with your needs and values.

My private practice is based in North London, and I also offer online sessions to accommodate your preferences.

How do I work?

1. INTRODUCTORY CALL

I offer a free 15-minute phone conversation.  In this call we can discuss  what you expect out of therapy and to get a feel for whether you think that I’m the good match for you. I can also answer your questions about the process of therapy.

2. CONTRACT

If you wish to take things further I will email you my therapy guidelines. This is a contract to cover issues like confidentiality and payment.

3. INITIAL SESSION

After our phone call we will schedule a 50-minute session.  In this session I will take a personal history, discuss what you want to work on and your goals.

4.  SESSIONS

I work with clients in an open-ended way. Our sessions are typically held at the same time and place each week for 50 minutes.

However, I understand that life isn’t always predictable, and I will do my best to find an alternative time within the same week if needed.

5. ENDING THERAPY

Ending therapy is as important as beginning.  I always invite you to take time to focus on endings to give you a better experience.

My fee

My standard fee is on a sliding scale of £65–£80 per session, depending on your income.

I don’t ask for proof—just trust that you’ll choose a rate that feels fair for your situation.

I offer this sliding scale to make therapy more accessible, and I appreciate clients approaching it with honesty.

My hope is to create a space where we can trust each other from the very start.

I also keep a small number of lower-cost slots for students and those who are unemployed (currently available online only).

It is difficult to find happiness within oneself,
but it is impossible
to find it anywhere else.”

Arthur Schopenhauer
